How can I begin therapy?
Therapy services require a physician’s order. We can request an order for services or you can request one. Physician orders should be faxed to 910-375-3031.
What happens after a referral is made?
We will then contact you to schedule an evaluation with a licensed therapist. After the evaluation, the therapist will make recommendations for you or your child’s treatment plan.
What types of insurance does Advantage Therapy & Rehabilitation accept?
We are currently in-network with Medicaid, Health Choice, Medicare, Aetna, Tricare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, MedCost and Cigna. We also accept workers compensation. Please contact us if you have another type of insurance or are private pay, we are willing to work with you.

Your treatment duration completely depends on your diagnosis, the severity of your impairments, your past medical history, and other factors. Re-evaluations will be done to assess your progress and your therapist communicates with your physician to help you achieve your therapy goals.
Advantage Therapy & Rehabilitation is proud to employe multiple therapists and assistants on staff who have a wide range of experience on various therapeutic techniques including sensory integration, handwriting without tears techniques, feeding, therapeutic listening, constraint induced movement therapy and more.
We will check with your health insurance provider to determine if outpatient therapy services are covered under your plan. We recommend that you confirm your insurance coverage. We currently accept workers compensation, medicare, medicaid, private pay, BCBS, medcost, CIGNA, and Tricare.
