My name is Karen Mullen. I have been an occupational therapist for over 24 years, graduating with a degree in occupational therapy from College Misericordia in Pennsylvania. I have a long successful history of treating patients of all ages with an emphasis on pediatrics. My extensive experience includes serving children and families in a variety of clinical and non clinical settings to include schools, homes, day cares, rehabilitation and acute care hospitals. My passion is on developing strategies to meet the needs of not only the patient I treat but the entire family as well. I also have advanced training in sensory integration techniques, neuro developmental treatment techniques, and handwriting without tears. I also have a certification in Therapeutic Listening Program and a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. I've been happily been married for nearly 22 years and am originally from PA. Before I settled in NC over 9 years ago, I lived and worked in 3 states and 4 countries. When not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and volunteering for the community.
My name is Stacie Wiggins, and I am a local of Kinston, NC. I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Meredith College, and went on to earn my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Lenoir-Rhyne University. My passion has always been working with children, and I look forward to expanding my knowledge in the area of pediatrics. When not at work, I enjoy reading, painting, and spending time with my husband.

My name is Ashley Etheridge, I have been with Advantage OT since 2011 and love doing what I do! I graduated from Pitt Community College in 2007 and started working with children in 2008. Since then I have gotten married and had a set of twins boys that were born 2 months early. We also have a little girl that was born Dec 2016. I feel that I can relate more to my families more since April 2015, due to having gone through some of the same things with my boys as my families have gone through with their premies. I love working with all types of dx but my passion is sensory kiddos. I have a certificate in Handwriting Without Tears, Therapeutic Listening, along with several sensory integration certificates. Currently I services children in Kenly and Wilson areas. I look forward to meeting you and working with your kiddo as well!

My name is Kristen Harper and I am a COTA, receiving my AAS from Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington. I originally began working in Florida and have since traveled throughout most of the states in the Southeast as a contractor working in various specialty areas with people of all ages within skilled nursing and long term care, acute and sub acute care, orthopedics, skilled hand therapy, cardiac rehab, and stroke recovery. On July 4th of last year, I was blessed with my first child, and she has brought so much joy to my life. I enjoy spending most of my time with her and our family. I am new to Advantage OT as of January and really enjoy working with children and treat them with the same regard as I do my own daughter. I greatly enjoy working for Advantage and feel that my experience in all aspects of OT helps to provide the very best care to the children that I service. I look forward to meeting new families in the future!
